Cheddar-cauliflower-ale soup.
Cucumber-tomato salad.
Zucchini/yellow squash muffin with kale baked into it.
I have a head cold, so I think this will be a good menu.

(21,024 posts)My researches in the area of Grilled Cheese led me to this. Not my photo but that's what it looked like when I was done. Grilled cheese topped with bechamel. Who knew. Oh, and I put pineapple on it. You need a good sourdough white for this masterpiece and lightly pre-toasting keeps it from getting soggy.

The best one I've ever had was in Paris (of course!) A little French patisserie I frequent makes them too, and I never have made one.

Lasagna, sausage and peppers sandwiches, chicken wings, salad, assorted chips and dips.
And beer. Lots o' beer.

But I'm visiting my sister for the holidays, and she had seconds, then ate a bit more out of the casserole dish.
Last night I fixed my sausage pasta bake (half pound sweet, half pound hot Italian bulk sausage, fried with about a half medium sweet onion chopped. One pound penne pasta fixed according to package directions. Black pepper on the drained pasta. Stir in sausage and onion, add one jar vodka sauce. Bake 45 minutes.) and she likewise took seconds of that.
I think she likes my cooking.
