Salad is shrimp, hominy, celery, coriander mixed together with dressing made from lime juice, crema Mexicana, olive oil, and some other ingredients that I cant remember. This is an RG original.
Another salad is baby zucchini, chopped shallot, and . (in progress). Another original recipe. You can be sure there will be an ample supply of olive oil on this one.
Pasta with ragu sauce. I tasted it--out of this world.
A friend is stopping by tonight.

We went with "Little Caesar" pizzas - I guess if you eat the same crap for 30 years it becomes the standard in taste!
And, they're on sale today!

(8,203 posts)saute onions, and green onions (chopped), and garlic in EVOO - S&P and I like to throw in some celery flakes - when I don't have celery on hand...
Cut up a kielbasa, (beef), continue to saute..10-15 minutes -
Add Zatarans Jambalaya - calls for 2 1/2 cups water..I use 2 cups water, 1/2 c chicken broth...toss in a cpl.. tbsp. sugar..bring to boil - reduce heat -cover - simmer 15 minutes..not done yet..
Now add shrimp and a can of petite cut tomatoes...mix well - cook another 10-15 minutes..make sure rice is done..and shrimp is pink..I taste along the way...OMG - one of my best..
I will make cornbread muffins later..
Kiddos are coming over tonight for game of card...
