What's for Dinner, Sat., Apr. 28, 2018

Bucatini pasta with different types of sauces. The RG is on in experimentation mode, and he made up a variety. There is one made with potatoes, another with sausage and fresh tomatoes, and some others that I can't remember.

I made watercress, pear, and Manchego salad tonight, and we're serving it with sweet onion dressing.

...Taco Bell. I was all set to make salmon along with the remaining Florida corn from TJ’s. My mother is gently sliding into dementia (she’s two hours away) and she had another episode today. I just want fattening junk food

I highly recommend adding chocolate.

I have an aunt with dementia in assisted living. The good news about that, if it's affordable, is that they can still have a nice quality of life, enjoy each day, and live well. I know it's distressing if you're not used to the idea. Hang in there.

Well, the sauce is in a bottle from Aldi, but I stir-fried chicken breast, broccoli and mini portobello mushrooms in coconut and sesame oil with a little soy sauce and added the S&S, served over jasmine rice from the rice cooker. Simple and delicious.
