What's for Dinner, Wed., Sept. 4, 2018

I'll be traveling during dinner hour, so I'm posting this a little early for others.

Not sure what we're having, so I'll post back later when I return.

Just for the record, though, I was asked and I said either cold fish curry soup or chicken meatballs, either curry or like what Cairycat made recently.

baked in a light egg custard. This is one of my favorites. It works best with fresh picked beans. I parboil the beans and pre cook the bacon in ye olde microwave before wrapping.

Deli turkey, Colby jack cheese, chopped fresh tomato, lettuce, and mayo in a flour tortilla.

FLFC had a buffet of sauteed ground beef, baked chicken, a few pieces of a hotdog, with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar cheese. The food was warmed until the cheese just softened. He picked out and ate the hot dog pieces first, ate some of the chicken and then set the chicken aside and polished off the ground beef. He then had an "out." After his romp and a big drink of water he polished off the chicken. I'm sure this was a four paws up dinner, there is nothing left on his plate.

For afterwards he is having some fake bacon treats and I am having a mug of lemon red zinger tea and fig newtons. We are both nodding off on the couch.
