What's for Dinner, Tues., Nov. 13, 2018

After I made my stuffed peppers last night, I fell asleep in my computer chair! And thus had no dinner. So I'm having what I worked so hard on last night: stuffed peppers and cucumber salad.

I did wake up enough to put them in the 'frig!

For dessert tonight, a chocolate cookie from WF. This cookie is like a light, airy brownie.

washed down with E&J Paisano (sp) red wine. I've been lurking for years and said to myself someday I am going to respond to your thread. I always read the healthy, creative meals you and others put on here and just laugh to myself when I'm having Oncore beef patties and Bob Evans mashed potatoes or some similar bachelor chow!

Such as get the 'fried chicken tenders' from Krogers prremade food case, break them up into chunks, top with frozen corn & the pre made potatoes, nuke, ~5 minutes time, pull them out & top with butter, a sprinkle of paprika, nuke till heated thru. Tahhh Dayy!

I always like to hear the thoughts of people who read but don't post.

Not everybody thinks food is a big deal. I once read a news story about some techie guy who just wanted to get his nutrition through a milkshake or a bar of something. I think he or someone else invented it for people like him.

We're hedonists in my household, though! We enjoy the growing, the planning, the shopping, the preparation, and most of all, the sharing of a meal. I don't even mind the cleanup, as we all share in that task. I just turn on a podcast while I do my part of the cleanup.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I always check to see what NJCher and others are having. Nice to meet ya.

I had a dinner date tonight. We had bbq.
I ordered brisket salad. They served fried onion tanglers on it and I mixed ranch and bbq sauce for the dressing. Enjoyable and the meat was super tender and smoky.

Later this week. Love homemade meatballs. You can eat as many as you want instead of being limited...lol.
