(21,024 posts)It's better the 1st day. Hint: hvarti doesn't work well in this dish. It tends to run out in a rubbery puddle on the baking tray.

(38,591 posts)a frozen thick-crust "supreme" pizza that we're going to add the leftover steak, peppers and onions (from last night's sandwiches) to the top.
Mom and Dad had Sunday dinner on Tuesday night (I'm quite jealous): roasted loin of pork, baked sweet potatoes, steamed broccoli & cauliflower, sliced tomatoes, and applesauce.
(I was invited to join them, but I opted not to as I wanted them to have the leftovers for tomorrow.)

(12,254 posts)Arroz amarillo, frijoles refritos, salsa cruda. Chips for gluten-free me and flour tortillas for mr. Pup.
I went to the shore yesterday for Earth Day. Stopped in to the cannery and bought smoked oysters and cooked dungeness crab. They put the crab on ice for me. I am making a baked potato to go with some of it...and garlic butter.
I will also make some crab cakes from some of the meat.
I plan to boil all the shells for bisque later in the week. Making the most of a $20 crab!
