White truffle pasta, made by the RG, who is truly a pasta-meister!
I'm making a dinner salad to go with it: ruffly lettuce with grilled onions, arugula, avocado, and charred lamb strips. Plus chimichurri dressing with the new round of cilantro I cut last night.
Bought berries at Aldi today: strawberries and blackberries, so I think I will mix up some sort of accompaniment using a little mascarpone and Greek yogurt plus agave.

(21,007 posts)sauce from scratch. close to my grandma's, but she used her canned tomatoes. i use more spices + herbs too.

their take on the salad was not bad...romaine instead of iceberg, and smokehouse almonds instead of bacon. also some raw fresh corn kernels. it was pretty good.
