Mine are chili, meat loaf sandwiches, enchiladas, and tonight I'm having leftover axis taco meat. I made tacos about a week ago and vacuum packed and froze the leftovers so now I don't have to cook tonight.

(102,262 posts)nothing like cold pizza. Unfortunately, I'm not finding that newer lower carb crust options (like cauliflower) always sustain heat/cold/reheat cycles.
As to more routine left-overs, I really only cook things that will store/freeze/reheat well. Especially soups, chili, stews.

(31,516 posts)Chili is one, but nearly any dried beans and soups or stews fall in that range, as well. I always make a big pot and count on leftovers to freeze.

(35,667 posts)are my two favorite leftovers, too But I also like cold chicken, especially in the summertime. It's nice if there is also some cold potato salad in the 'frig to go with it. I no longer do potato salad, but the RG has a way of making potato salad without potatoes. Tastes just like the real thing. Forgot what it is he uses, but I think it's cannellinis.
In addition, any kind of meatball leftovers are good, like chicken curry meatballs or pork/beef combination meatballs.

(2,674 posts)Home fried, not the KFC or Churches kind, but the pan fried kind I make along with a dill pickle and a slice of white bread. Cold meat loaf on whole wheat with a smear of mustard is good, too.
