What's for Dinner, Mon., Oct. 7, 2019

The RG is making chicken francese. I'm making the salad, which is Brussels sprouts-kale-lettuce. Everything is thinly sliced and then a whole cup of toasted walnuts are added. Lemon vinaigrette made with walnut oil.

I haven't figured out dessert yet.

On edit: Dessert: I wanted sorbet but the RG wanted gelato, so I went to the store and bought lemon bar reduced sugar gelato for me and hazelnut chip vanilla for him. And then I bought something that will be my downfall, I swear: chocolate chip thins. I would never normally buy a commercial, store-made cookie, but someone told me they were excellent and... (sob, back of hand to head) THEY ARE.

I do not need a new vice!
