Coffee and cream first

More of last nights' soup I think in awhile

1. Enjoying coffee and cream.

Cheese omelet soon.

2. Scalding hot black coffee.

Fried egg sandwich:

2 eggs fried in margarine
2 slices whole wheat bread toasted in skillet that eggs were fried in.
Sharp cheddar cheese

That was hours ago.

I am now munching on semi-chocolate chips and drinking scalding hot black coffee.

3. Raisin Bran

And it is continuously here this morning the eating I just tossed 9 baked potatoes in oven. wife has a bacon ranch spread to put on potatoes the Boys will eat them up.

What kind of soup did you make irisblue

4. Cheaters Soup. 😃😂

Tomato juice base, canned tomatoes, slowly sauteed onions & garlic, maybe ground chicken, usually kidney beans & pasta, and what ever fresh veggies & a few handfuls of frozen veggies. Splash of apple cider vinegar &
always some type of hot sauce. Slow simmer back of the stove till tender veggies.


It is never exactly the same and goes well with garlic naan, garlic biscuits, garlic bread, no vampires near me.

6. Good Morning!

Very dark and gloomy day with rain. It's much warmer though.

Black coffee so far.

I will have cottage cheese with blueberries and a piece of whole wheat toast after the coffee.

No FLFC present. TJ works tonight, so it is sleep time for her and FLFC. We must be very quiet.

7. I made roll-ups

Some with mesquite turkey and Monterey Jack, others with salmon salad. On the former, I put lettuce greens in the rollup.

A small bowl of mandarins with halved pecans.

Hot mug of apple cider.

It's rainy and gloomy here this weekend, but it's OK when you've got kitties to cuddle on, plenty of interesting jobs to do and oh, let's not forget, share your time with a cooking maven.
