My current stick blender, a cheap-but-good model I got at Aldi's, where the blending part attaches to the motor part is worn out. I mainly use it for blending soups and mixing up salad dressings.
Do you have one that you like? Features you think are important?
Thanks.

(34,136 posts)I have the one that comes with a whisk attachment, a deep cup to blend in, and a little chopper thing. I've used all the attachments and the blender part pretty often and find they all work well.
It's been years since I bought mine, but it is equivalent to this set: https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/cuisinart-reg-smart-stick-reg-2-speed-hand-blender-with-3-piece-accessory-set-in-stainless-steel/5315667 The major difference I see is the way the things attach to the motor. I bought a storage box to keep all the bits together - I find that very handy.

(36,827 posts)Kinda weird that it's so expensive. Only 200w and even the cheaper new ones nowadays have much more wattage. I'm quite sure it was far less expensive when I bought it and probably one of the cheapest I could find at the time. Still it's been going strong all these years later.
