Wanna see my xmas holiday project?

I saved my vacation all year and used it this month. Here is my project (start the finish on it tomorrow):

there will be glass on the top and on the shelf:

I've see those desktop CNC machines in the woodworking stores and/or Sears. They're not cheap. I was wondering if they can turn out a project like that.

I would not suggest the style that sears or other woodworking stores sell...at least the ones i have seen.

I was wondering if you have your own machine? Rent time? Farm it out?


I kinda figured those store machines probably weren't good for much.

what color will you stain it? Will you use clear or stained glass for the top?

That looks like it would be a tricky task what with the detail in the outline for the top.

i just brought the 2 pieces in before the finishing and had them cut the pieces.
