It was worth the half box of tissues

War Horse, from Netflix.

It may have been a little heavy handed, artistically, but it was a heart tugger. The affinity of animal and man.

And I know next to nothing about horses, but this was a real tear-jerker. But it was really predictable....I felt like it was Lassie Come Home with a horse as a star instead of a dog. But isn't that always a touching story!
