'Cat Island' draws visitors in Japan

Last edited Tue Mar 3, 2015, 11:32 AM - Edit history (1)

Squee here

An island where kittehs outnumber hoomins six to one has become a magnet for pet lovers in Japan.

Edited to add: the critters maybe could use a trap-neuter-return program, to keep the population reasonable. Still, there's nothing wrong with kittehs taking over!

Looks like a great place to visit.
Just taking a quick look, I can see the signs a very restricted gene pool. Looks like there are only three basic types of cat: orange marmalades, grey tabbies and Tuxedo cats, with various combinations of these. Trap, neuter and release would be a good idea for these fuzzy fellows.
