Over at Tiny Kittens they are livestreaming seven 5-week-olds who are a riot:

Three of them were rescued from a hayloft in a barn (one had fallen 20 feet off of it but luckily landed on some old insulation). The other four are from a litter of five: these are all tabby brothers. There is one more brother with their feral mom on the other side of the room who is very small and has some congenital problems, but we do see him come and visit every day too. They decided to combine litters, usually a no-no, because it was worth the risk.
This group manages a feral colony near Vancouver, B.C. Quite interesting for me, especially since I haven't had any fosters of my own since June. Virtual fostering!
In another room are Starling and her six who were born just about three weeks ago.

There is also going to be a big TNR event on October 15 and 16 which will also be streamed. Read about it here:

Today's Maralix post
"I found out something quite incredible. Sometimes mom gives us 2 of these tasty things she calls treats. They are small but delicious. Last night while I was being very affectionate and super slobbery (I do that when mom pats me) I watched closely and saw where they come from. Mom hides them in a cupboard. Inside the cupboard is a slide out drawer. What does she think she is protecting? I bet Fort Knox is not as impenetrable. If mom is away long enough, maybe even while she is sleeping I could figure out the how to's and become a cat burglar. By the way, I don't really know what Fort Knox is."

(17,276 posts)The small little tabby with the congenital problems is having surgery today at 11 a.m.PT. It is a long-shot: he is too small for surgery and they aren't completely sure what they will find when they do go in. But it is his last chance. He has a congenital deformity where the stomach and intestines are out of the diaphramic cavity and into where the lungs are, and when he eats his stomach fills up the space and he can't breathe. That's why he is so small--hasn't been able to eat much without starting to suffocate. If this works he has a chance at normal life. If not, well they will have done their best to give him a chance. See their Facebook page for updates. https://www.facebook.com/tinykittens/
