How could anyone not love them all?

(21,675 posts)I found Bassets to be incredibly warm and affectionate - a lot like a Bulldog. They genuinely enjoy quality time with the people in their lives, and will let you know!
Bassets are also great around small kids - cats as well. Children can pester a Basset all they want, and all they're likely to get a groans and maybe some sugar.
They're real characters (like many of us on DU, I suspect!).

(81,514 posts)I like watching doggies like that go down a flight of stairs. Watching from behind, that is. Hilarious! We have a very fat kitty who makes us laugh every time he "bunnys" downstairs. Looks like a big fat rabbit going lope-de-lope-de-lope, and it cracks me up every time! You CANNOT stay mad or sad when you see something like that.

(160,633 posts)That's a Corgi with a good head on his tiny shoulders, and a new aroma on his shoulder and back.
Also saw the Corgi who cartwheeled as he ran, and never missed a step. Not a quitter.
Thank you, shenmue.
