Had the strangest thing happen to me this morning.

I wrote earlier about how we had to send our sweet Dulcinea to the bridge earlier this week and how devastating it was for us. This morning when I got up I had the strangest feeling that somehow there was an emptiness in the house that my subconscious immediately informed me was a change in the psychic energy and that Dulcinea's spirit had left.

Now, please understand, that I am not a mystic, I am not a spiritualist, I do not believe that we can communicate with the spirits of those who have died, and I have never had something like this happen to me before. It was just a very strange feeling and an extremely strange conclusion.

Somebody please tell me I am not losing my mind.

When my Greyhound died some years ago his spirit appeared to me. I'm also not the type to have visions. Their spirits are powerful and your bond makes you sensitive.

The feeling may have been you beginning to accept the loss of your family member. We are a strange species when it comes to death, especially of those close to us.

I'm sorry for your loss.

I had this cat that died and for a couple days after I swear I felt it brush up against me. I heard things late at night that sounded like it was jumping on the couch or on the table. I kept these thoughts to myself and once when my hubby and I were talking about the cat he said he felt that cat was still around for a couple of days after it died. We never said anything to each other at the time.

Your Dulcinea is telling you they are ok.
