Or bothered to inform themselves of the gestation period for dogs.

I'm appalled.

that aren't. What did people do when they couldn't bring their service parakeet? It's getting to be ridiculous. I love animals, but, it's just too much and there's too many people who abuse it so they don't leave their pet at home. Lots of responsibility having a pet. Sometimes...if you can't find a pet-sitter, you can't go places. It's really just that simple. Show us how much you love your dog....stay at home w it when it's pregnant. Seems like a strange story.

is NOT an animal lover. They claim to have known the dog was pregnant, but didn't know how far along ? This is plain stupidity. We bred and raised dogs for decades and failing to provide adequate veterinary care for a pregnant animal is unconscionable.

The filthy floors of an airport are no place for a dog to be birthing puppies. Airports are busy places and ill-equipped to handle something like this. Most airports do not even have sufficient defibrillators to assist travelers who experience heart attack, and these fools expected the airport staff to be accommodating of this ?

Additionally, this is NOT a service animal. Service K9s are spayed/neutered as not doing so would compromise their ability to assist. This is a therapy animal. Legally, there are few rules and regulations regarding them, their training or their care. And of course, sadly, you can't legislate common sense.

Absolutely true about spay and nuetered. Dead give away to who has....and who hasn't...a proper service animal. But....in pointing it out....apparently ...'im strange."

be careful.....When it comes to "pets" and "service animals"...people have strong opinions. Don't piss off the OP or there will be some ugly words for you. Not everyone has to treat animals like humans. Those that do, are a little strange themselves...imho. What do I know though. 4 Brittanies, A mutt, Parakeets and tropical fish. Whatever you do...DO NOT call out the airline "service animal" posers...tends to fire up those who....probably do it theselves.

You by the way DO NOT work a service dog that far along in the first place. They teach these things in the schools where they get their guide dogs. I have a friend who has had a few guide dogs in her life and knows this.

I'm deleting the article. Most people seem to be turning into concern trolls over this. I thought it was a cute story.
