(2,810 posts)The theory of the rescue group was that she was used to breed mini goldens, but I think the assumptions were wrong.

(31,386 posts)I recently moved. I took my 13 year old rescue dog who has been with me for 10 years and several moves to stay at my son's house for 3 days while I moved everything from one apartment to another in the same building. Brought her home to the new apartment and she hardly knew we'd moved. She's the type of dog who follows me everywhere all day long and she would have been quite upset.
If Goldie is used to going to visit or used to daycare, think about removing her from the chaos of moving as much as you can.
