(102,274 posts)immediately after finishing she'd be awarded the dish or bowl to lick out (and I typically leave more than just a bit of residue). She knows she will get it, so she's become content. That's why we have automated dishwashers after all, right?... and no pre-rinsing needed.

(1,402 posts)We never eat a bite without the company of our two girls........they don't beg but they are as close to the table as possible, just in case!!! We are so fortunate to have them.
