Related: About this forumI'm in a bit of trouble with Morgan.
I decided to give her butt a nice warm water wash with a soft cloth, to remove any residual 'stuff'. She didn't howl nearly as loud as she normally does, which always sends Madoc into a FRENZY and triggers him to bash his way out of the den. This time I put him in the play pen and took her to the upstairs bathroom and gave her a nice cleaning, instead of using the 'powder room', right next to the den. Yes, that's what it's called on the house plans I found.
While she wasn't particularly enjoying the experience, it went better and much faster than I anticipated. Which means I'm not shredded. When we got back to the den, Madoc was all lovey and kissy with her. It really was cute.
And I just transitioned them to a 'big kitty' litter pan because, this morning, there was a mound of litter outside of the pan.
It's only 11 and I'm pooped. No pun intended. I'd better start making up with Morgan.

(26,316 posts)She really is a sweet, sweet kitten. It kills me to upset her. Madoc? He can be a total snuggle bug or a complete berserker. Two kittens with his energy level would wear me out, FAST.

(86,900 posts)Madoc watch while you do it so they can see what's going on. She might not fight as much.

(86,900 posts)And being the last two out of a small crowd, their bond will be tight. And kitties need to see what's going on in the bathroom anyway. I'm sure there will be a day when you find them both curled up in the sink together.
