Gryff is hoarding the cat teasers

They are his favorite toys. For the first week, or so, he just wasn't into playing with anything, and showed no interest in the laser light. Now he LEAPS so high, while chasing the teasers and races Madoc to see who can capture the red dot, first.

3. I'm beginning to think he's going to be a fussy eater

He wouldn't eat the kitten pate but I gave him a little of the wet food I give the ferals, and he gobbled it down.

And he is eating kibble, again. I might just try mixing regular pate with his kitten pate and see if he will eat that. Otherwise I'll look into what kind of supplements I can add to the regular cat food to make it nutritious enough for him. Although he's gotten so big, it's hard to remember he's still a kitten!

5. I had to turn on ALL of the surrounding lights

He's so cute, but it's so hard to get a good photo of his sweet face.

His coat really has gotten so much darker. At first, when he was in direct light you could see faint gray stripes. His belly still has some lighter fur but for the most part, he is panther black.

7. My brother had a tiny black kitten show up on his porch, one Halloween

He was the sweetest little guy. The first time I met him we were all sitting on the floor, drinking hot cocoa with whipped cream. Beezle walked up to my mug and PLUNGED his little face into the froth. From that point on, we were best buddies.
