Related: About this forumMuch nicer wake up call, this morning. Soft little Puma purrs and sweet little Panther kisses
Still WAY too early (3:45) but appreciated, none the less. Both settled back down next to me and fell asleep, followed by a LONG allogrooming session that included me, on the recipient side, of course. I contributed pets and scritches.
I really won the jackpot, with these furry little boys.

(26,291 posts)Madoc certainly is unusually well behaved, this morning. He didn't even try to slip through the door to the garage, this morning, when I took out the empty food can and bag of litter waste. That's a first!
The only way I can get him back into the house is to distract him, with the red laser dot, long enough to grab him.

(57,073 posts)Maybe it's sinking in that he is one very lucky kitty. He never experienced cold or snow, thankfully, but maybe watching Mittens has his kitty mind gears spinning...

(26,291 posts)It is such a different experience from the one with Sophie and Boudicca. They came from an un-nurturing home and while they were friendly, they were never quite like these two.
Socializing makes such a difference. Gryff must have had SOME degree of it, before he was abandoned, because he's such a loving little guy.

(26,291 posts)I've experienced so my grief and loss, over the past 6 years, it's nice to have something positive fall into my lap.
And their temperaments are perfect - very playful mixed with very affectionate.
