Sucky news.

Sammy has chronic leukemia. I have suspected this for a while. We have been working our way through other diagnosis and finally this was the only thing left and the blood test confirmed it. I am trying not to freak out. The vet said that dogs have been know to live as long as two years with the condition and his blood numbers looked ok, so his death is not imminent. But it still makes me sad.
