(32,688 posts)I mix it with half Fancy Feast Salmon. Then I mix it up with water and serve extra wet.

(9,267 posts)I have that problem with Charlie (16+ lbs) plus they have to eat urinary formula food because of my other cat. Vet suggested limiting them to .5 cup each of dry so theyre hungry enough to eat the canned. Limited success so far, they still mostly ignore the wet food (Pro Plan Urinary) and DH feels sorry for the poor starving beasts and gives them more than the correct amount of dry at bedtime snack time.

(419 posts)Hes large because he likes to eat. A couple of years ago, i cut them both down to 1/4 cup dry food twice daily. Kust trying to keep him from going up again.

(22,767 posts)but I've always fed mine Fancy Feast Classic Pate because it's supposed to be grain-free. There are two of them, and they split a can in the morning and another in the evening with just a little dry food available for grazing.
