Related: About this forumWorld's tallest dog confirmed: Meet 'Zeus' the Texas Great Dane
The adage everything is bigger in Texas applies to many things, and apparently, it includes dogs. A Great Dane in the Lone Star State has earned the distinction as the world's tallest dog.
Zeus is two years old and lives in Bedford, Texas. He was confirmed as the world's tallest dog at 3 ft and 5.18 inches, Guinness World Records announced on May 4.

I worked at a pet store and our groomer kept telling about the HUGE Great Dane she had at home. I always took it as hyperbole until the day she brought him in. She came up behind me, said my name, I turned around and was looking straight into the eyes of said GD.

Love my GD, but she could do more damage to a yard than you can imagine- in the time it took to make a pot of tea!

met at the end of the driveway by an unfamiliar, massive, barking Great Dane running at you...well, you just haven't lived. Or shit your pants.
