Kittens are such messy eaters!

I was SHOCKED, last year, because that was the first time I ever saw kittens dive face first into a bowl of food. Even though I now expect it, it still makes me laugh. Funny thing, though, is that Dewi is a very neat and tidy eater. So far, anyway.

I can't remember..Are they messy? I guess they are

Edit:Btw Siwsan I think I missed a post somewhere..how did you acquire 4 new kittens? The last thing I saw in The Chronicles of Kittenia involved Madoc and Gryff's mom feeling all left out...in the next post I saw that 4 new kittens were part of the roster.. what gives?

Within a day, or so, there was Spooky with a new litter of kittens!!

I'm pretty sure that I originally saw 5 but I could be wrong. As soon as their eyes and ears opened, I would bend down so they could see my face, and I'd talk to them. Unlike their older siblings, I see absolutely zero 'feral behaviors' from them.

So, my plan was to leave them until today, when I knew they'd be 4 weeks old and before she could move them, but two of the kittens had some sort of eye infection (eyes 'glued' shut) so I grabbed them up and took them to the vet. They are on antibiotics and eye drops so I guess I made the right call.

Two already have their forever home and will be leaving me mid-June. I hope to find a home for the other female. I'm keeping the little striped tabby.

That is what you meant by "brothers"...so they are Spooky's.
That is very nice of you...I was wondering if you were planning to add all 6 to the roster...that would be a lot kitties !

I remember now..you were planning on getting Spooky fixed but finding it difficult because she was so feral...I thought the pic of Madoc staring at them was very funny. I always find it funny the way older male cats stare at kittens as though they are completely baffled as to what they are .
