I know I've posted this type before. I still get pinned on the recliner by my cats. At this minute, Mojo, is draped over my lap, purring and keeping herself warm by sucking up my body heat. It does make it a bit hard to read DU, and for sure to type, but the sleepy purr is worth it.....lots of catfur on the laptop tho. Cats, best lapwarmers ever.

Cats seek us out for the warmth we provide, and in doing so, give us their heat too. Not to mention the purrs. What's a little fur on the keyboard when you gain so much from the presence of a furbaby???? I am constantly blowing fur off the computer. But when the cat decides to go lay by the furnace vent instead of on me, I feel bad.

Mojo has taught 2 of the other cats to 'heater hump' curling up on the heater vent. She burned an area on her shoulder 2 years ago, so I put diverters on the vent, the cats adjusted and camp out in front of the diverter or curl up on the heating pad under bed# 5, where the pride alpha, Squirty, is at this moment. Life is pretty good at this minute.

Yoshi has such heavy thick fur that he's a cool seeking fur barnacle, but it's me that's always latching onto him with the heat he puts out. He makes a great bum warmer, hand warmer, face warmer and definitely a foot warmer. Yeah for fur babies with lovely warm soft fur they're so happy to share with us! Nothing is so wonderful as cuddling with a splendid soft and warm furry beastie of any size or variety.

It's more than heat, it's comfort.

She will sleep in her cat bed until she sees me either sitting down or going to bed, then she appears with a purr.

but ever since I got new windows and better insulation they've preferred to sleep on me. I guess the floor isn't as cold any more.
