http://www.omaha.com/article/20130106/NEWS/701069923/1685#kelly-dog-escapes-travels-miles-to-site-of-owner-s-funeralI've never posted here, but I had to share this. I have tears streaming down my face, this is so beautiful it's beyond belief. I really see why people love dogs so much.

Ooooops. Forgot this:
Dgs are quite simply amazing. Some more than others. Their bond with us is so incredible, so strong. And these cases, while not common, are not rare either.

Thank you.
My pets may outlive me.
I haven't found anyone young enough to love a well behaved bird that lives 70+ years.
My chocolate lab (a rescue) would be lost without me.

I remember seeing a thing about a cat that lived at a hospice that could sense when a patient was going to die and would stay with them. Sometimes it was a few days, sometimes just a few hours, but that was just her self appointed "job".
My mother had a cat that could tell when she was having an especially bad day going through chemo. She would lay beside her in bed and put her paws on Mama's face.
