I had both last Friday and really felt like crap on Saturday, chills, aches and really tired. Was fine by Sunday. My thoughtful Charlie kept me company.

after latest Covid vaccine. Also didn’t feel great after second shingles shot a couple months back.
Also the Covid vaccine made my upper arm at injection site swell up and lasted 2-3 days. Never had that with previous Covid shots.

My arm was really sore for a couple/3 days, + aches, low-grade fever, low energy, and what we refer to as faucet face. Such a runny nose. I went through a big box of Kleenex ultra soft tissues, and lots of chicken soup splashed with hot sauce. Darjeeling tea, hot. Ginger ale, cold. Mostly lazed on the sofa with Molly, watching birds out the window and old movies on dvd/tv.

3 days later, I felt all rested and recovered.
My best advice is rest. And remember to hydrate!
You and Madoc have it all figured out.

Flu, Covid, and pneumonia. Felt pretty rough overnight, but I’m almost back to normal now. Lots of sleep helped tremendously. The arm that got two injections still hurts, though.

Glad Madoc is helping your recovery.

You definitely need to take it easy

Take 2 extra strength Tylenol and wrap yourself up with 5 kitcats and give us an update in the morning

Tonight I will go to bed early. I'm trying to decide if I want to go to Kroger tomorrow morning (before 7) or wait until Friday. The kids want me to make an apple pie for our delayed Thanksgiving feast. They are reluctantly having Thanksgiving dinner with their dad and his toxic girlfriend. My brother and I were invited but declined the invitation. Yes, she's that awful.

So the kids figured they will fulfill an obligation and the on Saturday we will have a party. Deep fried turkey, sausage sage stuffing, and lots of other tasty things washed down with some wonderful wine.

Bro and I will spend Thanksgiving dragging the carpet out to the curb and then reward ourselves with some epic cocktails and spur of the moment nosh.
