Great British archival footage of 1958 Iraqi Revoultion

Above is some archive footage from British Pathe showing the aftermath of the revolution. The British-backed Hashemite monarchy was overthrown and a new Iraqi republic established amid a wave of Arab nationalism. The Baghdad pact hung in the balance as Khrushchev welcomed President Nasser to the Kremlin.
