why this doesn't fall under Posse Comitatus?

The purpose of the act in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 is to limit the powers of the federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States.

2. Congressman Ted Lieu on this.

Congressman Lieu, who was a JAG lawyer himself, tweeted yesterday that this is a stupid idea. He said that JAG lawyers don't know anything about immigration law and are ill equipped to work on these cases.

Another layer to the clusterfuck.
