Cops: Men had 3 illegal guns and 2 babies in car
Upon further investigation, state police said they found each of the men had a gun, although all three were prohibited from possessing one. The guns found were a .40 caliber Smith & Wesson semi-automatic, a .38 Smith and Wesson Special revolver with an obliterated serial number and a .40 caliber Taurus semi-automatic.
The men - Allen Carter, 25, of Eddystone; Michael Mangold, 22, of Upper Darby; and Michael Vandergrift, 24, of Woodlyn, were all charged with firearms violations and related offenses.

I wonder how many strikes this accounts for with the "violators". Also, did the police give them their guns back after being charged?
Solution: More gun laws that will be ignored.

(18,483 posts)I'm from Philly. Ah... I mean 'YO!'
We have programs that assure us that all our young people (criminals too) graduate high school. So no more talk of dumb criminals in Philly. Okay?

(1,164 posts)My "visit" to Philly was not a Chamber of Commerce moment. I was enroute from Ft Carson CO to Aberdeen Proving Ground MD in the early 70s. While waiting for a bus from Philly to APG, the cleaning woman at the bus station was shot by a couple hoodlums. The incident diminished my opinion of the "City of Brotherly Love".
Good to hear young people are getting an education.
