are these quotes real?

"Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" Mao Zedong

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the supply of arms to the underdogs is a sine qua non for the overthrow of any sovereignty. So let’s not have any native militia or native police. German troops alone will bear the sole responsibility for the maintenance of law and order throughout the occupied Russian territories, and a system of military strong-points must be evolved to cover the entire occupied country.” – Adolf Hitler, dinner talk on April 11, 1942

i have read these quotes many times in support of rkba, but are they accurate, and not taken out of context.

i could quote the bible and prove God hates gays. so quotes taken out of context don't mean anything to me.

finally, i believe it was proven this quote was false "you cannot invade the mainland united states. there would be a rifle behind every blade of grass" Isoroku Yamamoto

thanks in advance for any info you provide. my apologies for any misinfo.

i posted in the other group as well to get both points of view.

True- "Problems of War and Strategy" (November 6, 1938), Selected Works, Vol. II, p. 224.

True- per Snopes The book Hitler's Table Talk, 1941-1944: Secret Conversations records Hitler as having said the following sometime between February and September 1942

The Yamamoto quote is considered apocryphal; though he knew a war with the United States was futile. His other famous quote is taken out of context:
Should hostilities once break out between Japan and the United States, it is not enough that we take Guam and the Philippines, nor even Hawaii and San Francisco. To make victory certain, we would have to march into Washington and dictate the terms of peace in the White House.
It leaves off his following sentence which shows it a warning against war:
I wonder if our politicians, among whom armchair arguments about war are being glibly bandied about in the name of state politics, have confidence as to the final outcome and are prepared to make the necessary sacrifices.

Yamamoto was a defense attache and studied at Harvard and knew the US very well, and spent his leaves traveling the US. He knew their strategic bombers could not reach Detroit without air superiority and aerial refueling, which was a decade or two away. We could mine own resources, while he knew our subs would send their merchant marine carrying ore and oil to the bottom of the ocean. His war plan was to destroy the Pacific fleet and cause a stalemate with in eighteen months.
While the "rifle behind every tree" quote might have been something he thought or said, he didn't seem to base any strategy on it.

Either the quotes are real or they're false.

Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun.
