How much longer until Detroit is a crime free utopia without any murders?

Michigan is a "shall issue" state with regards to carrying concealed weapons permits. The right wing tea bag legislature passed laws allowing people to carry guns in schools, churches, bars, parks etc.

The pro-RKBA crowd has been telling us for years that loosened gun laws that put more guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens will PREVENT crime. Now that Detroit has almost unrestricted gun ownership laws, will that end crime in Detroit? Will it drop? How much will it drop? How long will it take for the murder rate to drop? We've had the 'shall issue' law for several years now. Is it just that it's effects haven't kicked in yet?

When can we expect those policies to start ending violence in Mexico?

It's a tired old tactic and it really gets old watching you people use it.

This thread is about DETROIT, IT'S gun laws, and IT'S crime rate. If you don't want to respond to the topic of my thread then get the fuck out and stay the fuck out.

what does may issue or shall issue have to do with crime, since most murderers, and many of their victims for that matter, wouldn't qualify for either one.

Criminals killing criminals and criminals killing cops and politicians. Gun legislation has no effect in such situations, but gun proliferation would undoubtedly lead to increased violence.
End the War on Drugs and you will end the violence.

Detroit lays within Wayne County and makes up half the population of Wayne County but the homicide rate of Detroit is more then twice of what is is for the rest of the county.
