Does anyone know where I can buy NON GMO seed (Corn and Soybeans)? I need to plan next years crops
Preferably they should be located in NW Iowa. Please respond with any source web page or phone.
Thanks

1. I don't know of any in Iowa,
but Baker Creek and Territorial are where I usually get mine.
Baker Creek: http://rareseeds.com/ Territorial: http://www.territorialseed.com/ Edited to add: Seed Saver's Exchange is based in Decorah Iowa, but I've never dealt with them before. |

5. how much are you planting?
seed savers exchange is in NE Iowa, but they don't have a lot of regular varieties- great stuff, though

7. Holmes has the best prices for corn, as far as i've seen, and all the GMOs are marked
they're very nice on the phone, too.
i think they're a mom and pop type place. here's some good soybeans- http://www.ruppseeds.com/divSoy/default.htm they have gmo, too, ^^^ but they breed their own. here's a good list of stuff to avoid, i think- it seems to be by an ex-seed salesperson http://horticulturetalk.wordpress.com/2011/09/24/who-owns-who-where-and-how-monsanto-has-their-sticky-little-fingers-in-the-home-garden-seed-industry-3/ all sweet corn? |
