5. Isn't that the truth?

Right there. That says it all. What the hell is this country doing, going backward day by day? Racism is driving this, for sure. But it also seems to me that this rooting for GZ and celebrating this verdict are, for some people, revenge for the election (and reelection) and success of President Obama. I really think it's related. They were always revolted by black people but Obama as president has made some folks lose their minds. I think that's why the Right sees this as some kind of victory for "their side."

Add to that, of course, the financial gains for the firearms industry (driven by the NRA and ALEC) that come from legalizing even more ways to use a gun.

Taking out their hate for black people, and their acute frustration at not being able to defeat our President, on innocent CHILDREN while making a buck. What else can we conclude except that this country is going backward? It's getting worse for black people as much as for any other group in this country.
