anyone PLEASE explain

to me about this monkey word used by a racist to describe an AA woman and the c-word used by a person using, what I see as the Michelle Wolf type political sarcasm/derision? I am sure Ms. Jarrett nor Ms. Trump give a damn. One because she would go high on a low sleight by a very ignorant person, the other because she like her father has no conscience to shame. She is a part of a very fucked up administration destroying our democracy with GOP-Russian-wypipo help.

But not to the Humpers. They have no sense of humor. Sam Bee's words carry the same weight as preznit taintjuice.

under any circumstance.

But it’s a matter of degrees. And someone calling a particular woman the c-word is very different than someone comparing a black woman to an ape. Layer on the fact that this was a woman calling another woman the c-word vs. a white person referring to a black person as an ape, and it’s clear that the situations were very different.

If a male comedian had called Ivanka a “c-nt,” that would have taken it to another level. It still wouldn’t have been as bad as the Roseanne tweet, but it would have been closer.

Bee shouldn't have said it, but it's not even close to Barr's. Plus, of course, Barr has used the C-word to describe HRC, as have other Trump cultists.

black woman to an ape" Yes! The first is a very personal attack on one woman, the second is an attack on every African American.

One is textbook racism the other is internecine vulgarity.
Giuliani took it further, “Imagine if this was said about the Clinton and Obama daughters”, equivocating mocking a tone deaf 40 something bureaucrat with child abuse.

Are known for edgy, push-the-envelope humor. While I was uncomfortable with Bee's chosen expletive, her anger and her comment had a point. She was juxtaposing one privileged mother's tone-deaf social media offering against the ugly reality faced by immigrant mothers and children thanks to the polished blonde mamma's father.

What, exactly, was Barr's point in the first place? Is she angry about something specific that Ms. Jarrett has done? Or was she just spitting out some casual hate against a woman of color who has some education and geniune intellectual "polish" and who was in a position of power?

"Black people look like apes and all Muslims are bloodthirsty terrorists." That was the message that Rosanne Barr was communicating.

"The airbrushed, upper middle class image of mother and child bonding is a hypocritical play on emotions coming from the scion of a man who is ripping apart poor mothers and children even as the photoshoot was being conducted." That was the message Samantha Bee communicated.

THAT is the explanation for what was actually broadcast out to the world.

The explanation for the world's reaction to these two communications has to be filtered through belief systems and how well people are able to separate their gut emotions from their rational evaluations.

as a description always been a way to destroy the self-worth of american AA. You are right. It is the casual conversation among wypipo to describe a human being as a shit-flinging monkey or a nigger. Won't change because millions of wypipo perpetuate racial hate generation to generation and are ALWAYS with us in ameriKKKan society. As small as that word is, it poses a giant problem as a seed that is grown into a monster like the one calling himself potus. The seed of that hate planted many generations ago has grown into a forest of sequoia trees.

"What I want to know is how the white man, with the blood of black people dripping off his fingers, can have the audacity to be asking black people [why] they hate him? ”

For wypipo being pissed at the classification of their racist brothers and sisters as wypipo.

“I find it difficult [to believe] that… Christians accuse [Black Muslims] (or just Muslims) of teaching racial supremacy or… hatred, because their own history and… teachings are filled with it.”. This being a Sunday and one of the most segregated hours in ameriKKKa.

“The white man is afraid of truth… I’m the only black man they’ve ever been close to who they know speaks the truth to them. It is their guilt that upsets them, not me.”

“The white man is afraid of truth… I’m the only black man they’ve ever been close to who they know speaks the truth to them. It is their guilt that upsets them, not me.”

“You can’t separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom. ”

“Time is on the side of the oppressed today, it’s against the oppressor. Truth is on the side of the oppressed today, it’s against the oppressor. You don’t need anything else.”

“Speaking like this doesn’t mean that we’re anti-white, but it does mean we’re anti-exploitation, we’re anti-degradation, we’re anti-oppression.”

“We do not condemn the preachers as an individual but we condemn what they teach. We urge that the preachers teach the truth, to teach our people the one important guiding rule of conduct – a unity of purpose.” Can be extrapolated to mean our activity in the upcoming midterm election season and ALL our progressive and liberal allies, so-called methinks-)

“If violence is wrong in America, violence is wrong abroad. If it is wrong to be violent defending black women and black children and black babies and black men, then it is wrong for America to draft us and make us violent abroad in defense of her. And if it is right for America to draft us, and teach us how to be violent in defense of her, then it is right for you and me to do whatever is necessary to defend our own people right here in this country.”

“A man who stands for nothing will fall for anything.” -Malcolm X Sounds like MAGA people. They stand for one thing only, the destruction of whole races and cultures of people at the behest, these days, of their orange leader, the pervert-liar-con-sexist-racist potus, ameriKKKa and Russia installed.

“We black men(people) have a hard enough time in our own struggle for justice, and already have enough enemies as it is, to make the drastic mistake of attacking each other and adding more weight to an already unbearable load.” Please stop the intra-race violence over bling and minor sleights.

“You’re not to be so blind with patriotism that you can’t face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who does it or says it. ” -Malcolm X

“We declare our right on this earth to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary.”

“I believe that there will ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those that do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the systems of exploitation.” Already clashing with 66milion plue wypipo.

“The media’s the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the minds of the masses.” So true of MSN today. That's minds of the MAGA crowd today-fox news anyone

“Concerning nonviolence, it is criminal to teach a man not to defend himself when he is the constant victim of brutal attacks.”

enough said, for the time being

For your response. There are many valuable quotes that I have never heard of before. There's also so much going on in my mind as I ponder some of the specific points. My thoughts will take some time to collect themselves into a cohesive narrative. But I really want you to know that I appreciate what you have posted.
