Over 16m funding to be allocated to regional airports
Almost €16.4 million in exchequer funding is to be allocated to Ireland's regional airports, to contribute towards capital investment in the areas of safety and security, and sustainability.
Under the Regional Airports Programme 2021-2025, almost €6.6 million has been allocated to the regional airports at Donegal, Ireland West (Knock) and Kerry.
Shannon Airport will receive over €4.3 million, while Cork will receive over €5.4 million.
