Can anyone recommend a good book on the Ojibwe Nation? My new granddaughter has a

Ojibwe father. We don't have much disposable income, and there are many books to choose from.

1. The Birchbark House

By Louise Erdrich. Childrenís historical fiction, geared for around 5th grade. I enjoyed it as an adult; easily found at Goodwill and other thrift stores. There are two more books in the series which I havenít read yet.

They have used books in good shape, very inexpensively.
