and he sure writes some exciting ones. I recall that about 6-7 years ago when I started to read fiction (after 40 years of non-fiction) I got a copy of one of his books in a huge box I had bid on in Ebay....Can't recall whether it was Subterranean or Excavation. I recall I liked it, scary as it was, but didn't know enough about the web, the library, etc., to get any more books by him.

I'll put him on my list to remeber to request, which is different from list to request...too many to order at one time.

One thing I found out here:

is that he wrote an Indiana Jones book. Then I found out at Amazon that a bunch of people have written Indiana Jones books, which I never knew. Anybody else know about why Indiana Jones can be written about by so many authors? Was he a real person or what?
