but the premise didn't lend itself well to a long-running series. Its early cancellation is much of what give it its mystique and appeal.

Also, for my money, Serenity is one of the best sci-fi films of the past quarter century, in part because it stands well on its own even without the series.

Still, curious about what the reboot will bring...
