However, a fixed-form 5-3-5 syllable (or 3-5-3 word) haiku is sometimes known as a lune.

And who am I to argue.

This was my first original post, though I've been around since the days of Bob Boudelang. You inspired me.

A couple of nights ago I was practicing my Great Horned Owl voice, and got a reply from a nearby tree.

I've just joined up for the Poetry forum, so I'll pass them on from time to time as they.come to me.

I'm going to enjoy reading what others are seeing, thinking, and feeling as they write, too, so please don't be shy.

I used to carry a notebook & pen, but my muses literally would not stop feeding them to me. The more I wrote, the faster they manifested through my pen.

I couldn't keep up, literally.

So I had to abandon the notebook.

Maybe I crank it back up.

Ty for the encouragement!

lillypaddle this morning, and now the spring is flowing for me, too. Pass it on!

I had a journal that I stared at for weeks, and in which I made but one entry about Claude the cat, and his relationship with my vacuum cleaner.

This was maybe 35 years ago.

Time for me to get another. I've just retired, and there's much to enjoy.
