1. I enjoy them sometimes, but after awhile it gets to be almost repetitive - the spose/friends ALWAYS

does the foul deed. I realize very occasionally it is someone else. Real life is stranger than fiction.

2. I like them too. As the other poster says, most of the time it's the spouse whodunit....

It would almost make you think husbands and wives didn't do anything but plot to kill each other.

3. I got hooked on them when..

Unsolved Mysteries hosted by Robert Stack first came on the scene back in 1987. My old VCR would catch all the episodes that I wouldn't be home to watch.

That statement took me off into the way back machine!

I think that might have been the first true crime show on TV. Can anyone remember one before that?

I was already hooked on true crime books.

4. I used to be hooked on True Crime books. A ghoulie.

When I first moved to Wisconsin, I met a hairdresser who was also a ghoulie. I had about 30+ books at the time. I gave them to her. I've watched some "true" crime shows on TV. Some vary the story a bit.
