Related: About this forumOrioles sign Jamie Moyer to minor-league deal
BOSTON The Baltimore Orioles signed 49-year-old left-hander Jamie Moyer to a minor-league deal Wednesday, and assigned him to Triple-A Norfolk.
The Colorado Rockies released Moyer at the end of last month, a little over a month after he became the oldest pitcher to win as a starter.
Moyer is expected to start for Norfolk on Saturday against Buffalo.
On April 17, Moyer earned the win with the Rockies in a 5-3 victory over San Diego to become the oldest starter ever to win in the majors.
Moyer is 269-209 with a 4.25 ERA in his 24-year career, playing for eight teams. He pitched for the Orioles in 1993-95, and also has spent time with Philadelphia, Seattle, Boston, St. Louis, Texas and the Chicago Cubs.

That will keep the other AL East teams at bay!

Not great but he wasn't giving up a lot of runs but then quickly fell apart.

with Cleveland. This is the player they signed to bolster the offense.
90 ABs with 16 hits. 11 BBs and 12Ks.

He'll show the world what a 40 year old can do!

but they're keeping in AAA because he's not hitting.
The way the A's are hitting I'll take anybody. BTW, nice start by Feldman the other day. I was listening on radio driving home from San Jose. Made my day.
