and the Cowpies. Most Cowpie fans can't find Arlington on a map, anyway. Even if they live in Texas.

Professionally, Dayton is pretty firmly in the Cincy orbit, which poses problems since the Reds are division rivals of the Pittsburgh team my Phillie-fan childhood friend used to call the "Pyrites". On the other hand, they'd come to town frequently. And hey, the Bungles actually made the playoffs last year!

Locally, the Dayton Flyers usually offer decent A-10 hoops action, and the single-A Reds affiliate has sold out every game since the stadium opened: the longest sellout streak in pro sports!

Overall, I'd be more worried about the abundance of teabaggers than the sports scene.

Flanagan's was a good spot back in the day. And Timothy's right by campus. But I hear all the action is now in the Oregon District!

Root for sanity. Here's the republican douchebag who would represent you in Congress:

"In 2012, Turner called for a missile defense site on the east coast of the United States, to defend against missiles that would be launched from Iran. The east coast site would be the third such site, joining two others on the west coast that are designed to defend against an attack from North Korea."

You can always go out of business and have to move back home.

I say that as a Cubs fan who lives in Braves territory. If nobody, just sit back and watch 'em all until you find a team or two that you like.
