2 great games - Vermont vs. Mass and Maine vs. New Hampshire.

Vermont and Mass went into OT with Mass winning 3-2

NH and Maine is underway now....NH scores a shorthanded goal (2 men down)...but Maine scores 2 back to back and take a 3-2 lead in the 2nd period.

This ought to be an annual event....outdoor hockey at Fenway makes it extra special. They ought to have a 3rd game for the winners to play for a Northern New England championship.

And it's 50 friggen degrees at Fenway tonight....no global warning happening, nope.

On edit: Maine wins in OT, 5-4.

Love the college game, it just seems to be played faster than the pros. I get tired just watching these guys rush from one end to the other

I know so many people at the game. I would have loved to be there but I had a meeting today. I'm switching betweent he debate and the game.
