5. Women's basketball is just awful

UConn is very, very good, no doubt, and they play everybody.
Geno has built the elite program in the country, for sure.

But women's basketball, in general, is really, really bad.

6. I actually think it's more like the way the men's game was played

not that long ago...you never see defense in the men's game...it's all about athhleticism...the women can't jump like the men, so you see more strategy, IMHO

7. There is more strategy, yes.

But not a ton of parity (although there were quite a few upsets in this year's tournament so far).
But the brand of basketball is just not good. I've seen some Top 25 teams play as poorly as some high school teams.

8. I think there are only a few teams really up there that can win it...

Then there's a huge dropoff-probaly only hte top 2 seeds in each division are up there, if that...but between 3-16, the parity there is getting closer, it's the dropff from the UCONN's and Baylors that hasn't closed.
