OMG- Murphy

get over it ESPN. He is .280 hitter. Yes he is on a hot streak but comparing him to Gehrig. He couldn't carry Joe Morgan's cleats or any number of other second baseman( Sandberg, Alomar). I say he cools down in the series.

2. Hey Wilt!

Speaking of 2nd baseman, the Pirates had a guy during Sandberg's heyday that was a fielding wiz. Most observers thought he was the only 2nd baseman who was a better fielder than Sandberg (though he didn't have as strong an arm on the relay).

Do you remember that guy?

6. Jose Lind

He made the error that started the 9th inning rally where Sid Bream scored to win the game in the bottom of the ninth.

3. The NY media controls the storyline...they always do...

ESPN is part of that...they're based in Connecticut, but Connecticut is split down the middle between NY and Boston allegiances...ESPN hired all the NY d-bags.
