The Pat's should have let the Giants score earlier than they did.

I started mentioning this to some friends at the SB party I attended last night---

At the 2 minute warning the Giants were on the 18 yard line with a first down. The way they were moving the ball it looked inevitable that they would get closer---and sure enough, Bradshaw ran 7 yards to the 11 on the next play.

I said at the 2 minute warning---let them score.

Brady would have had at least a full minute more and another timeout.

Oh well....

Great drive. And they took care of the ball.
This wasn't about what the Patriots should've done. It was what the Giants DID.

Maybe they liked their odds of getting a sack or a block or a miss if they had to kick a 35 yarder.

But yeah, an earlier score sure would have helped!

4. Everyone said I was crazy. But I was saying they never should have punted

the ball back to the Giants after the drive with the Welker drop. After the game a few folks said I may have been right. Anyway, Welker needs to go. He can never be trusted again in a big spot.
